Casiguran, Aurora – The Lupong Tagapamayapa of Brgy. Calantas, Casiguran, Aurora underwent Regional Validation and Assessment for the CY 2024 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) on May 8, 2024. The activity which was held on-site brought together the Regional Assessment Committee (RAC), composed of representatives from the DILG, DOJ, RTC, PNP and CSOs to validate the submitted Lupon’s documents. Through interviews and case reviews, the assessors recognized the barangay's proactive approach and effectiveness in amicably settling disputes at the grassroots level.
DILG Aurora Provincial Director Ener P. Cambronero, Cluster Team Leader Ariel G. Espinosa, LGOO VI Florenz Zaira B. Buenconsejo, MLGOO-Casiguran, and LGOO V Clarissa G. Hess were also present to provide support and guidance to Brgy. Calantas during the assessment.
Barangay Calantas, under the leadership of Punong Barangay Veluz C. Eugenio, is the official entry of Aurora province in the CY 2024 LTIA for the 1st to 3rd Class Municipality category. The barangay's commitment to resolving disputes efficiently and effectively has significantly contributed to maintaining peace and order within the community. Congratulations to Barangay Calantas for this remarkable achievement!
