Under the guidance of the Department of the Interior and Local Government - Central Luzon, the Provincial Government of Tarlac successfully underwent the 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Assessment on June 6, 2024, at the New Sangguniang Panlalawigan Building, Tarlac City.
With the Provincial Government passing the prestigious award for six consecutive times, the evaluation of documents and other means of verification showcasing the Province’s effective governance and commitment to public service was thorough and efficient, focusing on the ten governance areas.
The SGLG Regional Assessment Team was composed of Assistant Regional Director Jay E. Timbreza, CESO V, LGOO VI Aldwin Reyes, and LGOO V Fatima Lalu from DILG - Central Luzon, along with Mr. Noel Sibal representing the Civil Society Organization. ARD Timbreza expressed his strong confidence in the Provincial Government of Tarlac, noting its consistent adherence to SGLG guidelines over the years. He also commended the province for its established practice of responsible and transparent governance.
Governor Susan A. Yap extended her gratitude to the Department and the dedicated employees of the Provincial Government for their unwavering efforts in fulfilling their duties with excellence and integrity. She highlighted that the collective hard work has significantly benefited many residents of Tarlac through continuous public service.
Overall, the feedback for the Provincial Government was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting a governance characterized by genuine care and concern for its constituents.
Mga Maningning na TALA ng DILG Tarlac, Pinarangalan para sa 1st Quarter ng 2024
Ngayong araw, kinilala ng DILG Tarlac ang kanilang mga masisipag na Field Officers at Technical Staff na nagpakita ng kahusayan at kasipagan para sa 1st Quarter ng 2024. Sa kabila ng mga hamon at pagsubok, walang pag-aalinlangan silang nagpamalas ng dedikasyon sa kanilang tungkulin.
Bilang mga "Tatag at Lakas" o TALA ng Tarlac, patuloy silang nagniningning sa larangan ng serbisyo publiko. Ang mga pinarangalan ay kinilala dahil sa kanilang walang sawang pagsusumikap at kontribusyon sa tagumpay ng mga proyekto at inisyatiba ng Kagawaran ng Interyor at Pamahalaang Lokal.

Ang mga pinarangalan na ito ay nagsisilbing inspirasyon at halimbawa sa kanilang mga kasamahan at sa komunidad. Ang kanilang Tatag at Lakas ay sumasalamin sa adhikain ng DILG Tarlac na manatiling Matino, Mahusay, at Maaasahan.
