In line with the Grassroots Participatory Process (GPP) for FY 2016 in all 14 cities and 116 municipalities of Region 3 for the next budget year preparation, the DILG as lead agency and chair of the Regional Poverty Reduction Action Team (RPRAT) is mandated to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the program pursuant to the Joint Memorandum Circular no. 5 series of 2014. The DILG Management Team and the GPP Resource Persons had a meeting with the Regional Coordinator – Community Mobilizers (CCMs) on September 29, 2014 at Party Land Restaurant, Barangay Dolores, CSFP. 

 

   On the other hand, relative to the implementation of the 2014 Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS), an Orientation-Briefing and MOA signing was conducted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office 3.

   During the activity, updates on the status of GPP Fiscal Years 2014 and 2015 were presented. Community Mobilizers were likewise oriented on the strategies to be undertaken in the conduct of the CSO Assemblies in their respective area of assignments.

   For the CSIS, the activity was able to provide the concerned participants a brief knowledge about Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS) and firmed up the convergence of the DILG, LRIs and LGUs through a Memorandum of Agreement.

   Regional Director Florida M. Dijan welcomed guests and participants and led the MOA signing and Awarding of Checks to different Local Resource Institute (LRI) partners of DILG namely City College of San Fernando for Angeles City, Central Luzon State University for Science City of Munoz and Bulacan State University for Meycauayan City.

   An open forum was facilitated to discuss issues and concerns relative to GPP. Likewise, issues relative to the Project Implementation of other National Government Agencies under GPP FY 2014 were discussed and clarified. As of August 31, 2014 4% of the total GPP FY 2014 projects (770) were completed, 35% are on-going while 34% are pipelined for implementation. On the other hand 27% of the projects are yet to start the implementation.

   A workshop was conducted before lunch to schedule the conduct of CSO Assemblies and LPRAT Orientation. Outputs was submitted and to be uploaded to the DILG R3 website. In the afternoon PD-CD conference followed to discuss and finalize the LG Code anniversary celebration in Central Luzon.
