The Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (IMTF) convened today, February 13, 2025, at the DILG Pampanga Provincial Office to discuss the upcoming assessment of the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) functionality across Pampanga’s LGUs.
Present at the meeting were representatives from various agencies that form part of the monitoring team, including the DILG, PSWDO, PPDO, and Civil Society Organization.
The assessment aims to ensure that LGUs effectively implement programs promoting children’s rights, welfare, and protection. Through this initiative, the IMTF seeks to provide guidance and develop a comprehensive plan of action to enhance child-focused governance at all levels.
