In preparation for the upcoming Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) Functionality Assessment and Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Their Children (LCAT-VAWC) Assessment at the city and municipal levels, a provincial orientation was conducted on February 6, 2025, via Zoom Meeting Application.
During the session, detailed presentation on the guidelines and technical notes for both assessments were provided to the participants. The discussion covered all documentary requirements needed as means of verification (MOVs) to ensure compliance and effective evaluation.
The LCPC and LCAT-VAWC assessments play a vital role in strengthening child protection measures and addressing violence against women and children across the Province of Pampanga. By ensuring the functionality of these councils and committees, the province aims to uphold its commitment to safeguarding the rights and well-being of children, as well as protecting women from abuse and exploitation.
