In order to ensure that all SK Treasurers comply with the required TESDA Bookkeeping NC-III, the DILG Pampanga together with the TESDA Pampanga met with the Local Youth Development Officers (LYDOs) during their 3rd Quarter Meeting on September 25, 2024 at Villa Catalina, Sasmuan, Pampanga.
During the meeting, the process of the certification and competency assessment was presented and discussed as well as the strategies to be employed. The LYDOs were requested to coordinate and assist the SK treasurers in filling out and submitting the required forms.
Though SK treasurers were already given TESDA certification during the 5-day and 2-day bookkeeping course that were conducted last January-February 2024, they are still required to complete the full Bookkeeping NC III training program within one year and pass the mandatory competency assessment.
Per RA 11768, or the amended SK reform act, one of the requirements for SK treasurers to assume office is the TESDA bookkeeping NC-III.
