Pampanga joins Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) Run
In support to the national advocacy, the Province of Pampanga participates in an anti-illegal drug campaign fun run dubbed as “Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) Run” on March 5, 2023 held at CDC Parade Grounds, Clark Freeport Zone.
The said campaign enjoins all local government units (LGUs), national government agencies (NGAs), and other key sectors of the society to focus on drug demand reduction and rehabilitation in the region.
RD Anthony C. Nuyda, CESO III expressed in his message the department’s commitment to continue campaign against illegal drugs. “Kami po sa DILG ay naniniwala na hindi lang ito laban ng ating gobyerno. Laban ito ng buong komunidad. Tayong lahat ay BIDA na lumalaban sa droga,” he said.
Meanwhile, Usec. Margarita Gutierrez personally expressed her gratitude to all participants for their support and dedication to mitigate the tendencies of the public to engage in using illegal drugs and in other vices. “Simula pa lang ito sa mga naconduct na BIDA Program. Patuloy pa po nating palakasin ang kampanya laban sa illegal na droga,” she added.
Also present to grace the activity were Usec. Marlo Iringan, Usec. Odilon Pasaraba, and Usec. Lord Villanueva, together with the DILG family, members of the central luzon’s ICAD advocacy cluster, and LGU officials and functionaries.
