DILG Nueva Ecija, under the leadership of Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, spearheaded the conduct of the Regional Showcase Barangay Clean-Up Drive in line with the continuous implementation of the Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas Program on January 22, 2025, at Barangay Sangitan West, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
The activity was conducted in collaboration with LGOO VI Louie C. Manarpiis, City Local Government Operations Officer of Cabanatuan City; Hon. Myca Elizabeth R. Vergara, City Mayor, represented by Atty. Myta Evangeline R. Vergara; CENRO Ms. Michelle Rigor, Engr. Aldous Taguaim, Engr. Vernadeth Ventura and Mr. JJ Dioniso; and the barangay officials, functionaries, and constituents led by Hon. Michael Emmanuel S. Marin, Punong Barangay of Sangitan West.
The Kalinisan Weekly Clean-up Activity aims to encourage every Filipino to partake in proper solid waste management towards a healthier, safer, and cleaner environment for all.
