DILG RD Florida M. Dijan, DPA, CESO III awarded to the local government unit of Sta. Cruz, Zambales the amount of Php3,051,600.00 as first trance from the total amount of Php3, 814,500 2015 BUB-DILG funded projects. The checks were received by the lady chief executive of the municipality, Hon. Consolacion M. Marty during a simple awarding ceremony at Zambaleña Building, Masinloc, Zambales right after the Stakeholders' Convergence Dialogue on Bajo de Masinloc on July 8, 2015 spearheaded by the DILG.
The ceremonial rite was witnessed by 2nd District House of Representative Cheryl Deloso-Montalla, Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr. and DILG PD Armi V. Bactad, CESO V.
The said allocation was intended for the two (2) identified Bottom Up Budgeting projects funded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government namely, the Rehabilitation of the Sea Wall along Public Market and the Construction of Drainage System along N. Ela and N. Mose Street located at Poblacion South, Sta. Cruz, Zambales.

With the objective of addressing the pressing issues arising from China's claims on West Philippine Sea as reported by concerned Zambales fisher folk organizations, a Stakeholders' Convergence Dialogue on Bajo de Masinloc was conducted last July 8, 2015 at the Covered Court, Masinloc Baywalk, South Poblacion, Masinloc, Zambales. This activity was the brainchild of no less than the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar A. Roxas III as the champion of local communities and local governments which aims to provide concrete actions that address actual concerns and negative impacts of issues to the common 'tao'.
