SUBIC BAY FREEPORT ZONE – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 3 spearheaded a Capacity Development initiative for Field Officers entitled: "CDP FOR BEST LGUs: Trainor's Training on the Formulation of Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) and Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment (CDRA)" on August 30-September 2, 2016 at Subic Bay Peninsular Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

The training aims to capacitate the Cluster Team Leaders, Program Managers, and other DILG field officers in the facilitating/assisting local government units (LGUs) in the formulation of their Comprehensive Development Plans. The workshop includes a simpler and enhanced version of the CDP Guidebook that has been further developed under the Support to Local Government Units for More Effective and Accountable Public Financial Management (LGU PFM 2) Project, funded by the European Union. The sessions are facilitated by DILG R3 CDP Focal Persons with the support of the resource speakers from DILG Central Office.
The department ensures continuous support for the growth and development of LGUs through the DILG brand of service, that is, "Matino, Mahusay at Maaasahang Kagawaran para sa Mapagkalinga At Maunlad Na Pamahalaang Lokal".
