Moving towards the new normal, the DILG Pampanga Team led its first face-to-face conference since March this year to discuss important issuances and reminders in the implementation of DILG programs.

Among the highlights of the conference was the Orientation on Alert Level 2, coming from the implementation of Alert Levels in the county in place of the community quarantine classification. Since the province, along with the other provinces in Central Luzon were placed under Alert Level 2, PM Mark Jason Veran briefly re-oriented the participants on the salient features of the said alert level in order for them to effectively guide their respective LGUs.

After which, LGOO V Mark Kevin Salonga took the floor and discussed the upcoming activity of the Provincial Office on the Revisiting of the LGU's Capacity Development Agenda. This is in preparation for the implementation of the Devolution Transition Plan in 2022.

In her message, PD Myrvi Apostol-Fabia talked about the upcoming activities and how these would usher in the new normal in the daily operations. She also shared insights on how to practice mindfulness despite the stressful and hectic life of DILG personnel.

"We are now about to end the year and I am very grateful that we are all together now despite the challenges that we face. Given the current situation of our LGUs that are about to move into full devolution, I know that we hold a crucial role in ensuring that they transition well, and thus gives pressure on top of our office deliverables, but, I would like to remind everyone to give importance to their well-being. While our job is important, nothing is more valuable than our over-all wellness and health", PD Fabia shared.
