As a response to the national strategy to promote and uplift the welfare and situation of the Filipino children, the DILG Nueva Ecija spearheaded by Dir. Renato G. Bernardino led the conduct of the Provincial Validation of the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF) for the 2021 Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) of the cities and municipalities in the Province of Nueva Ecija using the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance-Knowledge Monitoring System (SCFLG-KMS) on November 8-9, 2021 via Zoom Meeting Platform.

The PIMTF composed of the following members: Provincial Governor, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PWSDO), Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), Department of Education (DepEd), Provincial Health Office(PHO), Civil Society Organization (CSO) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) assessed and validated the data submitted by the LGUs through the system.

CFLGA is a result-based assessment tool and a mandatory audit for measuring local governance performance in the delivery of services that would generate positive results for children. The LGU gives priority to children in planning, budgeting, legislation and delivery of services and is able to assure that all children's needs are addressed and their rights to survival, development, protection and participation are upheld.

Through the SCFLG KMS, the data encoded and uploaded Mode of Verifications (MOVs) by the city/municipal inter-agency monitoring task force (IMTF) was submitted to the Provincial IMTF for assessment. Further validation will also be conducted at the regional and national IMTF. The results of which will be used in the conferment of the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance (SCFLG) Award and the Presidential Awards for Child-Friendly Municipalities and Cities (PACFMC).The audit result has also a bearing in LGUs quest for the Seal for Good Local Governance (SGLG).
