Corollary to the implementation of full devolution beginning next year, the Capacity Development Agenda (CDA) will play a critical role  in  helping  local  officials  chart  their  capacity  roadmap  in  plotting  their  path  towards  full devolution.

In preparation for this, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region III successfully conducted the Regional Orientation on the Formulation of Capacity Development Agenda for Local Government Units on September 1- 3, 2021, via Zoom Cloud Meeting.

The main objective of the activity was to orient the DILG Field Officers on the CapDev processes in order to effectively and efficiently provide technical assistance in crafting the CapDev Agenda of their respective LGUs.

The activity was participated in by the Provincial Directors, Cluster Team Leaders, Program Managers, City/Municipal Local Government Operations Officers, and CapDev Focal and Alternate Persons.

During the opening remarks of the activity, DILG R-3 OIC Regional Director Jay E. Timbreza  emphasized the role of the participants in the successful formulation of the LGUs' CapDev Agenda, and Provincial Directors as the influencers to local functionaries.
