The Province moves one step closer to achieving a healthy community through the Provincial Roll-out of Online Webinar Episodes aimed at enhancing the capacities of the Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERTs) dubbed as BHERTs – First Responders in Ending NCOV Diseases (BHERTs Friends) Project on April 21 and 22.

The activity, conducted in two batches, was attended by all members of the BHERTs in the province. The session was divided into two episodes: "Engaging BHERTs for a Safer Community" and "BHERTS in Action: Safeguarding the Community" that highlighted functions of BHERTs, the National Vaccination Program, and the Contact Tracing Program as discussed by representatives from the Provincial Health Office.

PD Myrvi Apostol-Fabia underscored the importance of having a Quarantine Facility and of strictly implementing the existing rules and policies to successfully manage the spread of the virus.
Likewise, Board Member Renato L. Mutuc pledged his commitment on behalf of the barangays and reiterated the directives of the Provincial Government to follow health and safety protocols, and maintain close coordination in the management of COVID-19.

The Roll-out of the BHERTs FRIENDS Project is part of the Barangayan Program developed by the DILG in accordance with the COVID-19 Management Program in the country.
