DILG Pampanga Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia and San Simon Mayor Abundio S. Punsalan, Jr. led the groundbreaking of the Construction and Improvement of Level III Potable Water System in barangay San Miguel this town on March 12, 2021.
The rehabilitation/ improvement of Level III Potable Water System will be implemented through the FY 2020 Local Government Support Fund – Assistance to Municipalities (LGSF-AM) program of the DILG with total allocation of P4,500,000.00.
The Rehabilitation/ Improvement of Level III water system source is a deep well located at Barangay San Miguel, which is potable for drinking and passed the minimum requirements set by Philippine National Standard for Drinking Water (PNSDW).
The LGSF-AM is a financial subsidy program that aims to assist the municipalities in addressing gaps in the delivery of basic services through implementation of high impact infrastructure projects.
