The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 3, through the Capability Development Division, recently invited on January 18, 2019 the BNEO Focal Persons of the DILG provincial and HUC offices to discuss the status of submission of BNEO outputs and come up with a strategy on how to efficiently consolidate the reports.

In her opening remarks, RD Julie J. Daquioag enjoined the FPs to help facilitate and fast-track the submission of lacking BNEO outputs. These outputs, she noted, are mandatory not only in the implementation of the BNEO Towards GREAT Barangays Program but also in the conduct of CapDev trainings of barangays.
During the hands-on calibration, the participants together with the Regional BNEO Team calibrated the reports and reconciled data gaps with the actual submissions uploaded in the shared database. As one of the strategies to ensure data integrity and avoid losing files during the uploading and consolidation of outputs, access to the database has been restricted to the BNEO PFP.
Meanwhile, CDD OIC Chief Jayson S. Jumaquio called on the Regional and Provincial BNEO Team to work together to come up with a strategy on how to consolidate all the barangay CapDev plans and identify the appropriate interventions that can be provided to the local officials based on their proposed agenda.
"Hindi natatapos ang trabaho natin sa pagmonitor ng mga submission of outputs. We need to strategize on how to consolidate and utilize these valuable inputs para makita natin at ng LGU kung ano pang training ang pwede nating maibigay sa ating mga barangay officials base sa kanilang pangangailangan," said Jumaquio.
Other highlights of the activity were the presentation of calibrated reports and sharing of experiences and learnings from the participants.
