OLONGAPO CITY – DILG Olongapo City Office joined the Bureau of Jail, Management and Penology (BJMP) in its intensified Operation Greyhound at Olongapo District Jail on February 16, 2016.

Oplan Greyhound aims to ensure that the district jail of Olongapo upholds the standards for the prevention of entry, use and movement of contraband within the jail premises to protect the public, employees and inmates.
Jail Chief Inspector Bernabe Olsim headed the operation in coordination with the PDEA headed by agent William Dulay and local PNP headed by P/SInsp Edmer Gloria. Punong Barangay Angelito Baloy of Barangay Barretto and LGOO VI Melissa served as observers.
