After a rigorous selection process from the eleven (11) entries in Region III, DILG Tarlac has been awarded as the Grand Winner in the Title and Logo Competition for DILG Central Luzon's Annual Regional Awards Program, which aims to gather suggestions in coming up to a suitable title for the DILG Region III's Annual Regional Awards Program.

 As the DILG Region III envisions to even more excel and nourish a culture of performance excellence, it likewise aims to put premium to the hard work and efforts of its workforce. Hence, pursuant to DILG Circular No. 2001-17 dated July 24, 2001, DILG PRAISE is designed to encourage creativity, innovativeness, efficiency, integrity and productivity in the public service by recognizing and rewarding officials and employees, individually or in groups, for their suggestion, inventions, superior accomplishments and other personal efforts which contribute to the efficiency, economy or other improvements in government operations, or for other extraordinary acts or services in the public interest. Last January 6, 2022, a memorandum from the DILG Region III with the subject Title and Logo Competition guidelines and contest rules for the DILG Central Luzon's Annual Regional Awarding Program was disseminated.

The winners for the said competition were announced last January 25, 2022 via DILG Central Luzon's Official Facebook Page. LGOO VI Aldwin B. Reyes and Network Administrator Mark Louie D. Liwanag were announced as first and second runners-up respectively. While the DILG Tarlac, headed by Provincial Director PD Belina T. Herman, CESO V and Engr. II Karl Anne P. Domingo was hailed as the Grand Winner for the said award.
