To communicate the message of full devolution to a wider audience, DILG Pampanga partnered with the Provincial Information Office (PIO) for a live guesting on October 29, 2021, in the show "Luid Kabalen" to discuss the impending transition of LGUs to full devolution next year in light of the implementation of the Supreme Court ruling on the Mandanas-Garcia petitions.

 The show's host, Mr. Joel Mapiles, was joined by DILG Pampanga's Program Manager Mark Jason Veran and Provincial Focal Person LGOO III Mark Kevin Salonga to shed further light on the fiscal impact of the ruling to the national and local governments as well as the vital role of the Department in ensuring that LGUs are equipped and capacitated to take on bigger responsibilities with the devolution of functions, services and facilities from the national government starting in 2022.

LGOO VI Veran also expounded on the responsibilities of local government units pursuant to Executive Order 138 particularly the preparation of their respective Devolution Transition Plans (DTPs) which will serve as roadmap towards full assumption of the devolved functions and services in the next three years.

Meanwhile, LGOO III Salonga said that Cabalens can expect enhanced and improved provision of basic services from the local government units given the anticipated increase in their fiscal resources. He also encouraged the listeners to participate in public discourse and be part in advocating for transparent, accountable, and good governance.
