Addressing the need to find, isolate/quarantine, and cure all close contact with possible infection of COVID-19, DILG Angeles City hired 200 Contact Tracer that will augment the current status of the City Contact Tracing Team. On October 26, 2020, the remaining batch of Contact Tracers attended the Orientation-Training at the SM Cinema 5, SM City Clark, Angeles City.

 "Congratulations and welcome to DILG family, your presence and skills will contribute to the goal of making the city COVID-19 free", an opening remark from DILG Angeles City Director Martin Porres B. Moral on the 74 newly-hired contact tracers out of 77 batch 3 applicants.

"Gusto naming maging effective lahat tayo sa ating mga gagawin para makamtan natin ang atin ninanais dito sa siyudad angeles pagdating sa usapin ng COVID-19", CDRRMO OIC Rudy Simeon on his speech addressing the effectiveness of every contact tracers to be deployed.

As part of the mitigation plan of the City Government against COVID-19 pandemic, the 74 newly hired contact tracers are expected to be deployed on their given RHUs together with the first and second deployed batches.

In the end, City Health Office OIC Dr. Verona V. Guevarra quoted "We're going to break the chains of transmission", emphasizing the importance of the role of every contact tracers on preventing the further spread of the Virus.

Together with Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer(ACDRRMO) Rudy Simeon with ACPO City Director PCol Joyce Patrick B Sangalang and City Health Officer Dr. Verona V. Guevarra, the administration led the orientation-training of the newly hired batch 3 contact tracers for the COVID-19 response protocol at SM City Clark, Cinema 5, Angeles City.

Minimum health standards such as wearing of face masks and face shields, 1-meter social distancing, reading of body temperature and using alcohol were observed during the Orientation of Contact Tracers.
