A Provincial Consultation on the Implementation of FY 2018 Assistance to Municipalities (AM) and Orientation on the FY 2019 Assistance to Municipalities program was spearheaded by DILG Pampanga on November 19, 2018.

                 The activity serves to reacquaint participants on the AM Program policy guidelines and monitoring guidelines of Assistance to Disadvantaged Municipalities, AM and Salintubig projects as well as define the responsibilities of concerned offices and individuals involved in the overall implementation of the programs.

             A consultation and reconciliation of the data on the status of implementation of the Locally-Funded Projects (LFP) with the LGU functionaries then followed.

                    Present at the activity were the municipal mayors, engineers, accountants, and planning and development officers, DILG Pampanga's Provincial Director Myrvi A. Fabia, Cluster Team Leaders, Field Officers, and the LFP team.

           In her message, PD Fabia commended the LGUs for the province's overall good performance in implementing locally funded projects. She also urged those with delay issues to fast track implementation and reiterated that DILG Pampanga is ready to provide technical assistance whenever necessary.
