Anim (6) na barangays ang sumailalim sa oryentasyon sa ilalim ng proyektong Gabay sa Barangay. Ito ay nilahukan ng mga kinatawan ng mga sumusunod na barangay, kabilang ang:

(1) Brgy. Dulong Malabon, Pulilan;
(2) Brgy. Lambac, Pulilan;
(3) Brgy. Tibag, Pulilan;
(4) Brgy. Balayong, Malolos City;
(5) Brgy. Caniogan, Malolos City; at
(6) Brgy. San Vicente, Malolos City.

Sa pangunguna ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), at sa suporta ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) kasama ang Department of Information and Communications Technology, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) at Pamahalaang Panlalawigang ng Bulacan ay inilunsad ang gabay sa barangay project, sa ilalim ng Multi-Stakeholders Advisory Committee (MSAC) ng lalawigan.

Nakapaloob sa programa ng Gabay sa Barangay ang dalawang komponent o sangkap nito — una, ay nilalayon nitong palakasin ang kapasidad ng mga opisyal ng barangay upang matulungan ang mga M/Small Medium Enterprise sa pagnenegosyo sa kanilang barangay o upang maging business coach o mentor, at ikalawa ay ang pakikiisa ng Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) upang tumulong sa aspeto ng pamumuhunan para sa mga magnanais na mamuhunan o magnegosyo sa barangay.

Ngayong taon inaasahan na aabot ng 20 barangays ang magbebenipisyo sa programang ito.

Another productive day indeed, as the DILG – Bulacan Locally Funded Project (LFP) team personally inspected the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) Projects titled, “Rehabilitation/Improvement of School Building” and “Provision of Renewable Energy – Based Electrification” in Barangay Sto. Rosario, Hagonoy. During the inspection, the LFP team witnessed the improved quality of life brought by these projects to the residents, especially to the barangay officials and to the teachers and students of Hagonoy West Elementary School.

The projects aimed to address various infrastructure issues and through the support of local government units (LGUs) and government agencies, significant improvements have been apparent from enhanced safety and security into improved educational opportunities. These projects have proven to be catalysts for positive change, paving the way for a brighter future for the residents of Brgy. Sto. Rosario.

The LGSF-SBDP is a flagship program of DILG implemented under E.O. No. 70 which aims to provide developmental support through provision of structural projects to conflict-affected areas.

Bumisita si Panlalawigang Patnugot Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, CESO V, kasama si LGOO VII Judith Romero sa tanggapan ng Kinatawan ng Distrito ng Lungsod ng San Jose Del Monte, Igg. Florida P. Robes upang mas palakasin ang ugnayan sa pagitan ng dalawang tanggapan ukol sa implementasyon ng mga programa at proyekto ng Kagawaran para sa mga mamamayan ng naturang Distrito.

Kasunod nito ay dumalo rin si PD Myrvi Fabia sa pagpupulong na isinagawa ng Liga ng mga Barangay CSJDM Chapter upang talakayin ang mga prayoridad na programa ng Departamento.
