The Regional Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (RIMTF) of the Regional Council for the Protection of Children (RCPC) assessed the Provincial Council for the Protection of Children (PCPC) of Bulacan today, March 21, 2024.
The assessment team is led by LGOO V Cherina Quiñones together with LGOO IV Ma. Bernadette Castro, LGOO III Pamela Herrera, and PEO II Emmanuel Apron of DILG Region 3. Also with them were RSCWC Apple Lomoljo and CSO Representative Gerald Adriano.

The RIMTF members were warmly welcomed by Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro, Provincial Administrator Antonette V. Constantino, Department Head of Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office - Rowena J. Tiongson, Provincial Planning and Development Office - Arlene Pascual, Provincial Budget Office - Francisco T. De Guzman and the entire support staff of PSWDO. Also present during the assesment were Provincial Director Mryvi Apostol-Fabia, CESO V, LGOO V Jhea Gregorio, and LGOO III Eunice Mallari of DILG Bulacan.

The Functionality Assessment of PCPC is being held annually which aims to gauge the level of compliance of the province in implementing programs focusing in the advancement for the protection and welfare of children, women and trafficked persons.


Driven by the goal of ensuring the quality and safety of the infrastructure projects for the LGUs in the province, the DILG Bulacan Locally-Funded Projects (LFP) Team conducted an onsite inspection in the Municipality of Balagtas today, March 20, 2024.

The two projects under the said programs, titled “Construction of Balagtas Municipal Park and Recreational Facilities/Plaza” under the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) and “Upgrading of Farm to Market Road in Barangay Borol 1st” under the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP), are part of the government's ongoing efforts to enhance the services and infrastructures to foster community development and improve the overall quality of life of the citizens.

With funding allocations of Php 5,000,000 for Municipal Park and Recreational Facilities and Php 6,606,882.17 for Farm to Market Road in Barangay Borol 1st, these projects at present provide a place for outdoor activities and bridge easier access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and other social amenities in the community.


City of Malolos | DILG Bulacan spearheaded the re-orientation and initial table assessment on Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Awards (LTIA) CY 2024, today, March 20, 2024. The Committee assessed the documents endorsed by lupon in city/municipal level and selected the top performing barangay per category which will be subjected to onsite assessment in the coming weeks.

Present in the said activity is PAC Chair, DILG Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, together with the members of the Committee: Judge Maria Belinda Rama (Regional Trial Court), Mr. Ceferino De Guzman (LnB representative), Ms. Alyssa Grace Morales and Mr. Jay-r Torres (Provincial Government of Bulacan), and Rev. Maria Elena Caniban (Civil Society Organization).

The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) is an annual search being conducted in order to give recognition to the exemplary performance of the Lupons, most especially in their adequate and expeditious demonstration in the promotion and implementation of Katarungang Pambarangay in their respective localities, established through Executive Order No. 394, s. of 1997.
