The DILG Bulacan participated in the 2024 Consumer Wellness Month spearheaded by the DTI Bulacan on October 28, 2024, at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo, Bulacan Capitol Compound. The event brought together local government officials, community leaders, and consumers to celebrate and promote consumer rights and welfare awareness.
The highlight of the day was the presentation of various awards recognizing exemplary contributions to consumer advocacy, one of which was the Certificate of Recognition for the 2024 Search for Huwarang Palengke. Several LGUs were acknowledged for their commitment to enhancing the shopping experience and prioritizing consumer needs.
These awards honor local markets that exemplify best practices in service, sustainability, and consumer engagement.
