The DILG Regional and Provincial Monitoring Team conducted the on-site monitoring of the implementation of the eLGU System in the Municipalities of Balagtas, Bulakan, Bustos, Bocaue, and Hagonoy. The Electronic Local Government Unit (eLGU) System aims to streamline public services through a digitize public transactions. The on-site monitoring aimed to oversee the utilization, initiatives, and current flow of service delivery of the LGUs, particularly in the offices of Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), Municipal Civil Registrar (MCR), Municipal Treasurer’s Office (MTO), and Information and Technology Office (ITO).
This initiative is a collaborative effort of the DICT, DILG, and ARTA in enhancing the public service delivery, aiming for a more efficient, transparent, and citizen-centered governance system.
