DILG Bataan conducted the first leg of the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Mock Assessment in Pilar, Abucay, and City of Balanga to help the LGUs prepare for the upcoming regional assessment.

The assessment was led by DILG Bataan Provincial Director Belina T. Herman, CESO V, with the DILG Bataan SGLG Team, headed by Cluster Team Leader and SGLG Focal Person LGOO VII Cristy M. Blanco, alongside LGOO V Mark Angelo T. Pumares, LGOO V Ayla Theresa V. Bugay-Quimlat, LGOO III Michelle F. Samson, LGOO II Aleira Eunice V. Taguines, LGOO II Vangie C. Rodriguez, and LGOO II Russel Jasper R. Rabacio. The team evaluated the LGUs’ performance and provided guidance to help them meet the high standards of good local governance.
During the exit conference, PD Herman provided valuable insights and recommendations to further strengthen the LGUs' governance practices. She emphasized the importance of sustained efforts in achieving the SGLG criteria.


Through this initiative, DILG Bataan remains committed to guiding LGUs in their pursuit of excellence and ensuring that they meet the rigorous criteria set by the SGLG. The next round of mock assessments will continue in the coming weeks.
