The DILG Bataan Locally-Funded Projects (LFP) Team conducted a progress monitoring and site inspection of three infrastructure projects in Hermosa on September 24, 2024.
One of the projects inspected was the construction of a farm-to-market road in Barangay Balsic, funded with ₱10 million. Another farm-to-market road in Barangay Saba, which has a budget of ₱5 million, was also evaluated. Both projects are part of the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) – Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FALGU), aimed at improving agricultural access and boosting the local economy.
In addition to the road projects, the team assessed the Level III Potable Water System in Barangay Mabiga, with an allocation of ₱4 million under the LGSF Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP). This project aims to address the community’s longstanding need for a dependable and safe water supply, significantly improving access to clean drinking water.
MLGOO Vernita La Torre, local barangay officials, and Engineer Cezar Tantiangco, Jr. joined the inspection to ensure that all projects remain on schedule and meet the required standards.
