The newly-inaugurated Orani Tourism Park, situated along the Roman Superhighway in Barangay Mulawin, Orani, Bataan, stands as another beacon of success for the province's sustainable tourism efforts. Funded through the FY 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) Program, this landmark project was officially turned over to the municipal government of Orani today, January 16, 2024.

Municipal Mayor Efren “Bondjong” Pascual Jr., in his message at the ceremony, emphasized the collaborative spirit that led to the successful completion of the project. "Para makita ‘yung readiness of the area and really provide a better perspective on how Orani will contribute to the growing opportunities that Bataan is creating for everyone," the mayor remarked, highlighting the LGU’s role in the broader economic and developmental prospects of Bataan.

Meanwhile, DILG Regional Director Atty. Anthony Nuyda expressed optimism on the impact of the project. "Alam namin na makakatulong ito, hindi lamang po sa mga tricyle driver, kundi maging sa mga turista at sa mga bisita po ng bayan ng Orani,” RD Nuyda stated.

The event, attended by the Sangguniang Bayan, department heads, and other key personnel from DILG Bataan and DILG Central Luzon, signifies the completion of this SGLGIF project. This development marks a pivotal moment, not only for the residents but for visionaries and advocates of sustainable eco-tourism, ushering in a new era for Orani and Bataan as a whole.
