To gear up the local government units of Bataan for the upcoming Peace and Order Council (POC) Audit and Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit, DILG Bataan headed by Provincial Director Myra Moral-Soriano, held a back-to-back provincial orientation in Balanga City last week.

With the aim to repeat the 13 out of 13 highly functional provincial, city, and municipal ADACs, Program Manager/MES Chief Allan Don Malonzo and ADA IV Joseph Castro presented a thorough discussion on the indicators and documents to prepare the LGUs for the ADAC Audit.

LGOO V Laverne Gonzales, Jr. likewise provided a system demonstration on the ADAC-Functionality Monitoring System (ADAC-FMS). During the activity, the documents as explained, shall be uploaded to the ADAC-FMS for the evaluation and assessment by the Audit Provincial Team (APT).

Meanwhile, the orientation on 2019 and 2021 POC Performance Audit policy guidelines and indicative timelines were discussed by LGOO III Danilyn Pena. LGOO V Gonzales also presented a walk-through of the POC Performance Audit System. Participants of the orientations include DILG Bataan Cluster Head Melissa Nipal, C/MLGOOs and the LGU ADAC focal persons and IT/encoders. The POC and ADAC Audit assesses the functionality and effectiveness of local POCs and ADACs based on existing issuances, performance, policies and innovations in ensuring peaceful, orderly and safe communities.
