To wrap up the latest accomplishments relative to the implementation of locally funded projects (LFPs) in Bataan, the provincial, city, and municipal LGU-implementers gathered virtually during the 1st Quarter Provincial Assessment and Calibration of LFP Status Reports on March 31, 2022.
PD Myra Moral-Soriano acknowledged the efforts of the participating local functionaries as the projects under FY 2021 Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Assistance Program (DRRAP), and Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FALGU) have reached 76% and 35% completion rate, respectively.
In addition to the presentation of physical and financial status of the projects, the Provincial LFP Team also commended the proactive response of Bataan LGUs to the call for the submission of project proposals under the FY 2022 FALGU. As of this writing, at least 134 barangays and 10 P/C/MLGUs of the province have submitted their special budget requests to DBM with a total of 178 proposals. To conclude the virtual meeting, CDS Chief Johnny Mandocdoc announced the upcoming LFP-related capacity building activities for LGU personnel, followed by a message from Cluster Head Melissa Nipal emphasizing everyone’s effort in the implementation of programs, which both delighted the whole team.
