DILG AURORA CONDUCTS PTC FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY 2023: PREPARES MLGOOS FOR SGLG 2023, ORIENTS FIELD OFFICERS ON LPMC AND LCPC FUNCTIONALITY ASSESSMENT
DILG Aurora headed by OIC-Provincial Director, Ener P. Cambronero, CESE convened on February 7, 2023, for the conduct of Provincial Team Conference (PTC) for the month of February.
The team's strategies in implementing the Department's programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) for the First Semester FY 2023 are highlighted during the Team Conference. This is to consistently identify better methods and approach to implement the Department’s programs, projects and activities (PPAs) for the next 5 months.
The activity highlighted the discussion of DILG Aurora's Operations Plan and Budget for FY 2023 by LGOO V Maricar Janice C. Perez, and presentation of updates on various PPAs under Monitoring and Evaluation Section (MES), Capability Development Section (CDS) and Finance and Administrative Section (FAS) facilitated by Section Chiefs.
LGOO V Florenz Zaira B. Buenconsejo, SGLG Focal Person, also discussed the 2023 SGLG Proposed Additional Indicators to prepare the MLGOOs for the upcoming SGLG 2023 Assessment. She answered issues and concerns raised by Field Officers regarding the aforesaid topic.
DILG AURORA ORIENTS FIELD OFFICERS ON LOCAL PROJECT MONITORING COMMITTEE (LPMC)
In preparation for the upcoming LPMC functionality assessment, DILG Aurora field officers were oriented on the different parameters/assessment criteria such as Organization, Training, Planning, and Implementation and Reporting. Roles and responsibilities of the MLGOOs and Provincial Assessment Team, timeline of activities, and MOVs to prepare were also discussed. This was facilitated by CDS Chief, LGOO V Florenz Zaira B. Buenconsejo.
DILG AURORA ORIENTS FIELD OFFICERS ON LOCAL CHILD PROTECTION COUNCIL (LCPC) FUNCTIONALITY ASSESSMENT
In line with the DILG MC No. 2021-039, DILG Aurora also conducted an orientation on LCPC Functionality asessment which focuses on four major areas: Organizational Sustainability, Policies and Plans for Children, Budget, and Service Delivery Monitoring and Management for Children. his was presented by LCPC Focal Person, LGOO II Reyner L. Buenconsejo. Likewise, strategies and interventions to help the LGUs improve their functionality level were also discussed.
During PDs hour, OIC - PD Ener P. Cambronero provided clarifications on matters concerning Sangguniang Kabataan (SK). He said in his message, that through the team’s progressive teamwork, he is looking forward for the office to continuing its efficient and timely delivery of quality public service through the effective implementation of the Department's programs towards good governance.
