Baler, Aurora – The Department of the Interior and Local Government of Aurora, represented by CTL Ariel G. Espinosa, proudly receives a Plaque of Recognition from the Department of Education (DepEd) Region III Schools Division Office (SDO) of Aurora as the Outstanding SDO Partner during the 3rd Annual Gawad Bayanihan: Stakeholders Convergence and Recognition Program cum Signing of Memorandum of Agreement on February 28, 2025.
The plaque reads, “[This] Plaque of Recognition is awarded to Outstanding SDO Aurora Partner DILG - Aurora in grateful recognition of its selfless assistance, support, commitment, and exemplary contribution as SDO Aurora Education Partner to improve the quality of basic education through partnership engagements, and initiatives in providing safe, accessible, and quality education. [...] Signed by Dante G. Parungao CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent.”
This event recognizes the exceptional achievements of SDO Aurora’s valued stakeholders and serves as a platform for strengthening partnerships.
The DILG and DepEd have actively collaborated on various inter-agency programs to ensure access to quality education in all Local Government Units of Aurora and increase knowledge sharing in a diverse range of projects and activities for inclusive, disaster-resilient, and peaceful communities. Key convergence areas include the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance and Local Councils for the Protection of Children.
Last December 20, 2024, DILG Aurora also recognized DepEd for their invaluable efforts and commitment to providing selfless public service, particularly in the implementation of Tambuli’s Performance Enhancement And Compliance Evaluation (PEACE) Program. Their consistent active participation over the years has been pivotal in the maintenance and enhancement of peace and order and public safety in the province.
