Baler, Aurora – The Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force, chaired by PD Ener P. Cambronero, DILG-Aurora, conducted the 2025 Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CLFGA) on-site validation on January 20-31, 2025, on the eight (8) component municipalities in the Province of Aurora.
The on-site validation aims to thoroughly review the means of verification and documentations of the Municipal IMTF from their 2024 performance data. The onsite activity served as the venue to provide feedback to the Municipal IMTFs, and MCPC members in improving their processes and services in meeting the rights of every child.
Not over yet, the previous top ranking LGUs remains its premier standing as it highlights better performance comparing their previous performance during the audit according to the initial assessment of the PIMTF – with the MCPC Casiguran as the most improved council when it comes to the execution and documentation from the last year’s performance.
On December 09, 2024, LGOO V Bon Paby P. Mingua, DILG Aurora CFLGA - Focal Person, through the leadership of PD Cambronero, initiated the provincial orientation on the afore-said audit which was participated by the members of the PIMTF and 16 representatives from the MIMTF online. Meanwhile, leveling of technical knowledge on the child-friendly indicators was conducted to enhance the understanding of the PIMTF Member Representatives in the conduct of on-site validation on January 16, 2025.
The PIMTF Representatives and on-site validation team was composed of LGOO V Bon Paby P. Mingua and LGOO II Gerald Philip DC. Esteves from DILG Aurora Provincial Office, PDO I Gibbs Q. Baldonade, DepEd; Ms. Cherry M. Caballes, Provincial CDW President (CSO); Provincial ECCD Focal Person Marites delos Trinos, SWA Charlene Jane C. Saturno and SWO Shalom I. Dadero, PSWDO; Midwife IV Laila Christina Baning, PHO; AA VI Adonis Jake V. Bihasa, PPDO; and AA III Beverly E. Herminigildo and AA III Sierra Mae Pimentel , PBO.
Results of the CY 2025 CFLGA are expected to be released before the end of 2nd Quarter, 2025, prior to the 2025 SGLG Assessment schedule.
