32 Sangguniang Katabataan Treasurers participated in the Bookkeeping Training-Workshop spearheaded by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) - Aurora and Sangguniang Kabataan Provincial Federation of Aurora, in coordination with the Department of the Interior Local Government (DILG) Aurora Provincial Office, on November 27 to December 01, 2024 at AMCO Beach Resort, Barangay Sabang, Baler, Aurora.
The training course was offered by the TESDA Aurora Provincial Office with free assessment to all participants. The training aims to help the appointed SK Treasurers to ensure that the SK Funds are managed effectively, transparently, and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
In his closing message, Senior TESDA Specialist Jerome H. Lopez from TESDA Aurora expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Divina Bautista of DepEd Aurora for her invaluable support and coaching provided to the 32 SK Treasurers of Aurora.
Meanwhile, LGOO VII Ariel G Espinosa expressed, “being equipped because of this training is not just only an opportunity to ensure that you have the capability to do your job right but this is an opportunity leading to the likelihood of securing employment after your service to your barangay”.
Lastly, Ms. Divina Bautista offered enrichment activities to ensure the 100% passing rate of the 32 participants before the scheduled assessment to secure National Certificate III from TESDA.
