Aurora, Philippines – The Province of Aurora and the municipalities of Dipaculao and Dinalungan have undergone the rigorous Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) National Validation on September 3-4, 2024.
The validation process was a crucial step in determining the veracity and accuracy of the performance and documentation presented by these LGUs during the previous regional assessment. The national validators from DILG MIMAROPA Region in person of LGOO VI Erika Mae U. Gumabol and LGOO VI Christine Meyette F. Latoja thoroughly examined various aspects of governance.
The successful validation is a testament to the LGU’s unwavering commitment to good governance and their dedication to serving their constituents.
For this year, only the first and second time potential SGLG passers have been subjected for validation. Meanwhile, the Municipalities of Baler, Dingalan, Maria Aurora and San Luis are conditional passers pending the official results of the final assessment of the Council of Good Local Governance.
