On March 26, 2024, the DILG Aurora PPMT conducted an on-site inspection of the construction of the Municipal Government of Dipaculao’s Multi-Purpose Building (Evacuation Center) that is funded under the FY 2023 Local Government Support Fund - Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (LGSF-FALGU). Once completed, this building shall be a temporary shelter and act as an evacuation center for people who may be exposed to hazards in the area.
To ensure that the facility is constructed according to its designed specifications and can better address the specific needs of the community for increased resilience, those present during the inspection included the Dipaculao Municipal Planning and Development Office, Municipal Engineering Office, PD Ener P. Cambronero, MLGOO Hannah Marie A. Dizon, Engr. Rosanna C. Hernandez, Engr. Kenny Jean N. Iniwan, and PEO II Angel Oviatt. After the field validation, an exit conference was conducted at the Barangay Hall of Borlongan to discuss findings and recommendations for further improvement.
