Baler, Aurora – PD Ener P. Cambronero, CESE delivers his speech during the Mount Carmel College 1st Congress with the theme: “Karmelians: Kaagapay ng Paaralan at Pamahalaan sa Mapayapa at Ligtas na Komunidad” on March 01, 2024.
PD Cambronero underscored the pressing issue of youth involvement on illegal drugs, bullying, unfiltered virtual contents, and prevalence of gender based sexual harassment. Afterwards, he highlighted decades of government combat to eradicate such crimes through comprehensive frameworks and intensive enforcement of policies such as Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and Republic Act 11313 or the Safe Spaces Act.
Lastly, he expressed imperatively the crucial role of informed individuals in ensuring a drug-free and safe space for every students of the institution and community.
