The Barangay Newly Elected Officials (BNEO) Towards Grassroots Renewal and Empowerment towards Accountable and Transparent (GREAT) Barangays Program is a term-based capacity development program designed by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) through the Local Government Academy (LGA), which aims to address and enhance the capacities of the barangay officials with the end goal of efficiently performing their tasks, duties and functions, thereby improving quality of service and upholding good governance in the barangay.
The 2023 Basic Orientation Course under the BNEO Framework plays a strategic role in empowering barangay officials with the requisite administrative acumen, technical expertise. and mindset of good governance.
CDS Chief LGOO V Reyner L. Buenconsejo served as the program speaker while Dipaculao MLGOO Hannah Marie A. Dizon served as the program host.
