In line with the commitment of the national government in the whole nation approach in ending local communist and armed conflict, the DILG Aurora led by PD Ener P Cambronero CESE conducted Town Hall Session on October 25, 2023 at LGU Maria Aurora.
“Ipinapaabot ng Probinsya na willing kaming tumulong sa lahat ng barangays para sa kaunlaran at kapayaan”, PD Raul Siriban said during his message.
The said activity discussed issues and concerns of the 5 barangays namely Bagtu, Diome, Debucao, Cabituculan East, and Florida. After-which, all the mentioned gaps by LGOO VI Amado V Angara, RCSP Team Leader, were elevated to the Provincial Government and National Government Agencies such as TESDA, DTI, DPWH, and NIA.
“Dahil prinapractice po natin ang whole nation approach, wag po nating kakalimutan ang ating mga barangays”, PD Cambronero said.
To summarize the agreements, Tesda and DTi committed to deliver livelihood and skills training while PGA and DPWH presented the ongoing and upcoming infra projects and NIA encourage to enroll farmers to irrigators club.
Then, the Local Government of Maria and Punong Barangays of the said 5 Brgys expressed their gratitude to the DILG’s Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) as this will greatly help the community.
The RCSP is a 5-phase program under the implementation of Executive Order No 70 that addressees societal issues and gaps of the barangay with the convergence of national and local government units.
