On January 16 to 18, 2024, DILG Tarlac conducted its Strategic Planning and Direction Setting Activity in Botolan, Zambales to pave the way for a more effective and responsive service delivery in the new year, with the Provincial Office Personnel who serve as crucial contributors in the success of the entire field operations.
The activity served as a platform for discussions on innovative strategies to enhance the quality of public service – sharing insights, ideas, and best practices that will contribute to the continuous improvement of DILG Tarlac’s performance this 2024. Highlighting the event was the launch of "Tanglaw," DILG Tarlac's Multimedia Team, which stands for "Transformative Advocacy Network for Government Links and Awareness Wisdom." Tanglaw reflects the commitment of DILG Tarlac to illuminate public understanding. Rooted in the Filipino word for light, Tanglaw embodies the fusion of technical expertise and creative abilities to amplify government initiatives and foster greater awareness within the community.
Tanglaw is set to roll out a series of initiatives in the coming months, showcasing its dedication to providing the public with insightful and engaging content that bridges the gap between the government and the people. This initiative is poised to become a beacon of information, promoting transparency and awareness of government programs, projects, and activities.
The team also enjoyed the beauty of nature, surrounded by Botolan’s natural spring, river, and sea. Stories and laughter filled the venue over meals, all with a common goal of working hand-in-hand toward another productive year. Three enthusiastic teams also engaged in exciting mind and water games, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
The event concluded with a group sharing session where positive traits were highlighted, and areas for improvement were identified, reflecting a commitment to personal and professional growth for the betterment of the entire team.
In her closing message, Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, CESO V, emphasized the importance of unity and maintaining a high quality of work to continuously achieve the Office's goals with excellence. PD Bactad encouraged the personnel to work together as one team, bounded by love in everything that we do - love for the Department, love for the team, and love for one other.
