One of the priority activities in the implementation of the Supreme Court decision regarding rehabilitation, clean-up and restoration of Manila Bay is the formulation, implementation and monitoring of the Integrated Information, Education and Communication Plan (IEC) Plan for Manila Bay.
In order to realize this, a ceremonial signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Provincial Environment (PENRO) and Natural Resources Officer and Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) was held at Villa Amanda Resort & Restaurant, Abucay, Bataan on November 18, 2013. The MOA is for the conduct of Assessment and Evaluation of IEC within Barangay Cupang West in City of Balanga and Barangays Panilao and Sta. Rosa, Pilar.
DILG Bataan Provincial Director Myra B. Moral, CESO V, one of the signatories, represents the DILG, as one of the mandamus agencies and part of Technical Working Group to support and ensure the success of Manila Bay Clean-Up Rehabilitation and Preservation Program.
