LGOO IV Carren Musni while presenting the overview of Regulatory Simplification 
Regulatory Simplification for new business permitting and licensing is the enhanced version of BPLS. Expected outcomes of this project are reduced number of steps, lower average time to get a business permit, improved procedures, policies and practices. Another benefit of this project is an improved capacity of the LGUs to regulate businesses.
The activity was participated by the Provincial and City BPLS Focal Persons and Regional Personnel involved in BPLS. An overview was given by MED Chief Lerrie S. Hernandez while ARD Abraham A. Pascua supervised the successful conduct of the activity.
The Provincial Focal Persons are expected to roll-out this project to their respective provinces and cities.
