The second Gawad Sulayman, an initiative under Ing Kulitan’s Alaya, was successfully held on December 6, 2024, at Bacolor, Pampanga with the theme “Pahuway: Pagkilala sa mga Natatanging Kwento ng Tagumpay." This provincial awarding celebrated the outstanding contributions of local government units, local personnel, and field officers in advancing Pampanga’s development through Locally Funded Projects.

The event, which served as a platform to recognize the dedication and excellence of LGUs in championing the implementation of locally funded projects, featured 7 major awards and 13 special recognitions—each representing the steadfast commitment of LGUs to meeting the needs of their communities.

One of the most anticipated highlights of the event was the unveiling of the Locally Funded Projects Coffee Table Book, “Kumpuni: Stories on Addressing the Needs of the Community.” This beautifully crafted publication chronicles transformative success stories, showcasing how Pampanga’s LGUs have maximized locally funded programs to improve lives and build resilient communities.
