LGSF Utilization Status
In keeping our commitment and support of the advocacy to promote awareness and ensure a fair, safe, and honest 2025 National and Local Elections, the DILG Nueva Ecija, under the leadership of Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, together with its provincial technical personnel, participated in the Unity Walk spearheaded by the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO) and the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Nueva Ecija on March 7, 2025, from Freedom Park to NEPPO Grounds, Brgy. Burgos, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
Following the Unity Walk, an Inter-Faith Prayer Rally and Peace Covenant Signing took place. This event symbolized solidarity and a collective commitment to promoting inclusive and secure elections.
In his message, Provincial Director Tactac expressed his gratitude to the officials and heads from various national government agencies and sectors in the province. He also emphasized the importance of unity and multi-sectoral collaboration in preserving the integrity of the electoral process and fostering the continued development of Nueva Ecija.
The event gathered over 500 officials, representatives, and staff from various national government agencies and sectors, including the COMELEC, PNP, Armed Forces of the Philippines, DILG Nueva Ecija, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Department of Health, Department of Education, Department of Justice, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, National Bureau of Investigation, as well as national and local candidates, multi-sectoral stakeholders, religious groups, the academe, students, civic organizations, and non-governmental organizations, demonstrating their immense support for electoral integrity.
The DILG Nueva Ecija remains dedicated in its commitment to provide full support and assistance to the COMELEC and other key stakeholders in reinvigorating this advocacy for a fair, peaceful, and credible 2025 National and Local Elections.
