DILG NE conducts evaluation of 2024 RCSP in Municipalities of Bongabon and Lupao
Yesterday - DILG Nueva Ecija visited Barangays Macabaclay, Olivete, and Vega in the Municipality of Bongabon and Barangay Namulandayan in the Municipality of Lupao to evaluate the implementation of the FY 2024 Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) by gathering stakeholders’ feedback and recommendations.
The activity also served as a venue to refresh the barangay officials, functionaries, and constituents as well as their respective LGU RCSP Team on the dangers of communist armed conflict and its detrimental effect on peace and development. In the discussion of Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr. on the History of the Philippine Communist Movement, he strongly encouraged the leadership of the barangays to educate their respective communities especially the youth, and to exercise critical thinking and vigilance against the maneuvers of communist infiltration in the locality. At the conclusion of the program, DILG Nueva Ecija awarded generator set to each barangay.
The RCSP is an inclusive program that aims to address identified issues of the community by closing the governance and development gaps through provision of needed government programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) while ensuring that development is sustained and peace is being promoted.
