CENTRAL LUZON — The municipalities of Mayantoc and Pura in Tarlac have made history as the first local government units (LGUs) in Central Luzon to receive the Drug-Free Workplace (DFW) Certification, officially conferred by the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) III.
CLARK FREEPORT, PAMPANGA – JUNE 9, 2025 — The Local Government Academy (LGA), in partnership with the DILG Regional Office III, officially commenced the NEO PLUS Program: Orientation for Training Managers in Region III.

Baler, Aurora – The RIMTF conducted an on-site validation of the Provincial Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (PCAT-VAWC) Functionality Assessment on June 10, 2025, at the DILG Aurora Provincial Office.
The Committee was assessed based on its organization, meetings, policies, plans and budget, and accomplishments to enhance efforts in protecting communities from incidents of trafficking and violence.

In a strong show of solidarity and advocacy, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region III proudly participated in the “Takbo Para sa Batang Malaya!” fun run organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office III. The event was held on June 7, 2025, at the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Parade Grounds in Clark, Pampanga, as part of the nationwide observance of the World Day Against Child Labor.
