The Department of the Interior and Local Government Nueva Ecija, headed by Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr. conducted an Online Re-orientation on the Use of the Document Management System (DMS) for all Nueva Ecija DILG Personnel via Zoom Online Platform on February 6, 2023.

 This is in accordance with the Regional Memorandum Circular No. 2023-003 relative to the Region Wide Implementation of the Document Management System (DMS) effective February 01, 2023.

The activity aimed to ensure the smooth implementation of the said system for the efficient transmittal of documents and official correspondences. Moreover, the web application system developed by the Central Office aims to facilitate the storage, management, and tracking of the electronic documents and electronic images of paper based information throughout the Department.

The re-orientation was facilitated by ADA IV Kristine B. Ruiz. LGOO V Rossella P. Edillor started with the acknowledgement of Resource Speakers from the Regional Information and Communication Technology Unit (RICTU) headed by Information Officer I Melerie G. Pineda. ITO I Pineda discussed the terminologies and the use of the Document Management System, while RICTU Data Analysts Nick Daniellle G. Bracamonte and Data Administrator Marlon C. Soliman discussed the steps for internal and external routing of documents.

After the orientation, queries were addressed by the Resource Speakers and solutions were suggested. LGOO V Anna Marie P. Batad closed the orientation with a message of a successful transition of the use of Emails to the Document Management System.
