In celebration of the National Children's Month, the Provincial Government of Pampanga has awarded cash incentive amounting to ₱100,000 to each of the following LGUs with "Ideal" functionality level for their Local Councils on the Protection for Children for F.Y. 2021:

 • Municipality of Apalit
• Municipality of Arayat
• Municipality of Bacolor
• Municipality of Candaba
• Municipality of Floridablanca
• Municipality of Guagua
• Municipality of Lubao
• City of Mabalacat
• Municipality of Masantol
• Municipality of Mexico
• Municipality of Porac
• City of San Fernando
• Municipality of San Luis
• Municipality of Sta. Rita

Likewise, the Provincial Council on the Protection for Children was also awarded for achieving an "Ideal" level of functionality for F.Y. 2021.

Through these councils, LGUs ensure that children's rights and welfare are mainstreamed in development plans of LGUs in all levels. These councils also assist the government in the monitoring of the implementation of laws and national policies on children at the local levels.
