Amidst the cloudburst brought by the southwest monsoon, the DILG Bataan Locally-Funded Projects Team conducted a final inspection activity of the two local road projects under the FY 2021 & FY 2022 Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FALGU) program being implemented by the Municipality of Bagac on September 19, 2022.

• Improvement/Gravelling of Laguit Road at Brgy. Saysain, Bagac, Bataan (FY 2021)
• Rehabilitation of Overland Roads at Barangay A. Ricardo (FY 2022)

The team, led by Capability Development Section Chief Johnny Mandocdoc, inspected the recently-completed 364-meter long and 5-meter wide concrete pavement in Barangay Atilano Ricardo, and the 690-meter and 10-meter wide gravel road in Barangay Saysain. These two projects both cost P5,000,000.00.

The completed projects are connected with the busy and core thoroughfares in the municipality which will definitely improve the road experience of Bagakeños especially the students and the local farmers.

Moreover, discussion of the findings and its corresponding rectifications and recommendations was also tackled during the exit conference.

Present during the said activity were the DILG Bataan engineers, MLGOO Catherine Aduna, Municipal Engineer Paul Cuartero, SubayBAYAN Focal Person Leonila Trinidad, other LGU personnel, and Mr. Gabby Enriquez as the contractor's representative.
