Barangay functionaries from Brgy. Salacot and Brgy. Batasang Matanda, San Miguel, Bulacan participated in the activity entitled, "Enhancing the Capacity of Barangays on Effective Fiscal Management towards Full Devolution" on June 9-10, 2022 at Best Western Bendix Hotel, Brgy. Dolores, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

 The two-day activity is an intervention initiated by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Office 3, through the Local Government Capability Development Division (LG-CDD), which aims to further equip the barangays in actively fulfilling their roles and their relevance to development, specifically in the area of fiscal management.

The program includes the discussion of the Barangay Revenue Code, Taxation, and Barangay Budget Preparation, presented by resource speakers from the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology.
